Raisins Scones

Teachers' Day is just the corner. It's party time again. This year, my kids all want to hands on to bake something for their teachers. My 2nd boi suddenly want me to bake SCONES!!! I told him I don't have the recipe but he has. Funny right?? How come he has the recipe when he is only in Primary 3? It was actually from his school's assessment book so we decided to give a try on it.

Turn out??? The scones are very nice esp when hot and eat with jam n butter.

Results: Passed n confirmed by our BIG MAN at home. The kids helped to put the scones into these airtight Tupperware - One Touch Bowl and wrapped them up.

Mini Oven Baked Donuts

It's been a while since I bake the donuts. Since my youngest boy has school outing to the Zoo, I bake again for him to share with his classmates. Hope he loves it.

Home cooked Chicken Rice

Cooked this simple dish for dinner...Chicken Rice. Healthier for my kids since they love to eat chicken rice. Best to eat with some homemade chicken rice chilli and some garnishing, as good as eating outside.

Lemon & Poppy Seed Muffins

Steamed Moist Chocolate Cake

My first attempt on this cake. Didn't know that cakes can also be steamed other than baked. In fact, this is healthy cos not as heaty as the baked ones. My comment: I LOVE IT!!! Really, cos it is really heavenly delicious. Rating: 10/10. Even my husband who is not a "cake lover" also fell in love with it. Yummilicous!!!!

Thank you very much to Aunt Yochana for allowing me to post her recipe in my blog.

Durian Puffs

Here's my Durian Puffs .....

Yesterday, my friend, Alicia, gave me lots of durians from Malaysia. So I decided to bake durian puffs for her & my family. My 1st attempt wasn't good at all cos I did not put in enough eggs and so the puffs did not 'pong' at all. Nevertheless, I still go ahead with a 2nd attempt and this time, I succeeded, the puffs are light and pong pong. I am so happy.
